Mindful Mental Health Centre provides all aspiring and learning psychology students an opportunity to learn and polish their skills in counseling and psychotherapy, by joining our Internship Program through well qualified and certified practitioners for a successful career in the field of clinical and counseling psychology.
Applications are invited from interested and enthusiastic candidates who desire to pursue a unique and well structured internship training program which gives theoretical and practical opportunity that will add on to your career achievements. This program is going to enhance your theoretical knowledge with an advanced hands-on training in Clinical and Counseling Psychology under the guidance of RCI and MCI Licensed and experienced Mental Health Professionals.
Areas Covered: Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Psychopathology, MSE, Psychological tests & Psycho-diagnostics, Practical counseling and therapy training. Case presentations and mock Sessions. Duration: 1 month (240 hours)
We have structured a series of interactive sessions for a comprehensive knowledge of what clinical psychology is, how to deal with a patient, how to work up a case. We will be using role playing techniques to get a hold of your communication techniques with patients and real life demos. We will be taking up case presentation and studies, and Q&A sessions under accomplished clinical psychologists and psychiatrist.
The program has following components:
Trainees are expected to maintain the decorum of clinical services. They should be attending sessions as per schedule on time and making notes for better understanding. They should have a responsible attitude and respectful behaviors towards their teachers and staff. They should be interacting with patients under supervision only. Trainees at all times while dealing with clients are supposed to have empathetic, non judgmental attitude towards their clients. They are expected to be interactive during sessions and helpful to their co-trainees in case history taking, psychological assessments and evaluation. We expect our trainees to provide these services to a diverse patient population with skill and competence gained during this program. Interns must do a case presentation at the end of every week and must complete their assignment on time. All trainees will be evaluated by their assigned supervisors at the end of the program.
